Changes
Version 1.99.T October 4, 2008
- Fixed a problem in batch reports. If you went to admin/reports and did a date search, any subsequent batch reports would be incomplete.
- New Feature: By default, passcards that have no more uses, but have not yet expired, are hidden from view. There's a new link that lets you toggle the view of the useless passcards.
Version 1.99.S September 4, 2008
Added multiple select option to Session search. You can now search for multiple divisions at one time. The pop-up menu has been replaced by a select list. To choose multiple items, click on the first item and then hold the Control key (on Windows) or Command key (on Mac) while you select the other items. For the season search the "Start Here" check box has been replaced with a "Search Selection" checkbox.
Example use: You have three "Aquatics" divisions - "Aquatics PreSchool, Aquatics Youth, Aquatics Adult".
- You can now select all of them at once using the technique described above. Click Search.
- Select Select Fall 08 and Winter 08 seasons in the season search.
- Check the "Search Selection" and click Search.
Version 1.99.R August 24, 2008
- Added Advanced Search to Registrations. If this proves useful I'll add it to other areas of RecEnroll. Help has been updated to explain the functionality.
- Fixed problems on the public side registering and adding family members.
- Assigned the Registration Number later in the process, so there should be fewer gaps in the number due to abandoned registrations.
Version 1.99.Q August 8, 2008
- Fixed a problem with saving the Division Short Name.
- Added ability to get People list and Registration List from Product Sales.
Version 1.99.P July 2, 2008
- A few updates back I made it harder for public users to try and poke around the admin side of RecEnroll. That turned out to be a pain in the neck because admin users sometimes wanted to view the public side. The advice was to use two different browsers, one for public and one for private. I've made a change. Now the trick is, when you want to move from the public side to the admin side, you can click on the 'logout' link in the upper right side of any admin page. This will clear RecEnroll's palette, so it won't have any opinion about which part of the program you belong in. After you 'logout' you can log back in normally.
Version 1.99.O June 2, 2008
- Tightened up Public Views.
- Added product sales to Registration report on Person record.
- Cleaned up Session Reports (no more .DS_Store option).
- Added Roster with Wait List report. Wait List section is sorted by Registration Date and Time, with oldest first. The wait list section includes the registration date and time.
Version 1.99.N May 10, 2008
- Payments can now be linked to the batch of the linked Registration or the Batch when the Payment is made. A use for this might be for a day program where multiple payments are made, over time, and you want the payment to show in the batch where it's collected ratehr than the batch of the original registration. There's a preference in Admin/District Setup/Preferences you can check to turn on this feature.
- Automtic Summary Batches are now created.
- A Summary Batch is created for each Day, Week and Month that summarizes all activity for the time frame.
- Summary batches are listed in the batch report.
- For example, given two batches called "Office-05/03/08-A" and "Pool-05/03/08-A", there will be three summary batches that will include all the activity within those batches: Summary-05/03/08-Daily, Summary-04/27/08-Weekly and Summary-05/01/08-Monthly.

Version 1.99f Feb. 21, 2008
- Bug Fixes
- Added Age Fields to Sessions. Now you don't have to duplicate a class just because different sessions have different age requirements. New Sessions will inherit the Age Requirements for their Class. You can change them for a specific Session. (This is similar to how fees work.)
- On the public side, you can now warn folks when they sign a person up who is outside the age range for the Session. RecEnroll won't block an enrollment, but you could introduce a warning to let them know their child might be barred from participating in a class when they show up.

- You can now enroll multiple people from the same household into the same class at one time.
- Watch the explanation here: How To Enroll Multiple People
- In people records, a red alert shows up at the top of the detail record if there's a Medical Comment. I was worried that it might not be noticed as the medical comment isn't visible without scrolling.
- Changed the head of household icon from the crown to a House.
The crown is retired, after five years.
If you want to use this icon in your public pages, the url is:
<img src="/images/house.png" alt="Indicates Head of Household" width="16" height="16" border="0" title="Head of Household" /> - Fixed a glitch adding locations in Classes.
There's more in part two, below
Version 1.99a Dec 5, 2007 Part Two
- Changed the customer picture upload process so you see the update right away. There were browser caching issues that made it appear the picture wasn't updating. Also, when you're done, you go back to the people detail page, (where you started) rather the the people list.
-
Took out my home grown internal backup and started using 4D's built-in backup.
- Backup still happens every night.
- Backup configuration in the Administration/District Setup/Preferences is gone. Configuration is now in the app, on the server.
- The last five backups are kept. The oldest is deleted after the most recent is complete.
- All backups are stored in the Backup Folder, inside the System Support Files folder. That's the folder you should be backing up.
- The backup now includes the "People" mug shots..., I mean ID photos
Version 1.99 Dec 1, 2007
- Added the ability for public users of RecEnroll to mark Classes as "Favorites".
- The user has to be logged in for this feature to show up.
- When the user is looking at the Class record they will have a button to either Add or Remove the Class from their Favorites List.
- After a class is marked as a favorite, it will show up with a gold star in the class or search list.
- They can see all their favorites from a new Favorites link.
- On the Admin side, there's a new option in Classes called 'Show Favorites'. Clicking this will get you list similar to the default Class list, but with a count of the number of people who currently have this class listed as a favorite.
Version 1.98a Oct 7, 2007
- Custom Reports that target enrollment data are now usable!.
- Build custom reports per normal, in the admin section.
- Build your selection by starting in Sessions. (ie, find the sessions for which you want Enrollment data.)
- The Enrollment reports will be listed with the prefix "Enroll: "
Version 1.98 Oct 1, 2007
- Added ability to search sessions by age of participant.
- You get four age options when you pick "age" from the session pull down :
- Pre-Teen (less than 13)
- Teen (13 to 17)
- Adult (18 or older)
- Senior (whatever age you've indicated is your senior age, in preferences)
- When you do the search, the result will be all sessions that have participants that meet the search. This includes people who have dropped.
- There's a new report "Age Report" that can be run from sessions. For all matching sessions it gives you a break down by age range and residency. It shows you the count for the age group as well as the revenue (fees - credits) for the age group. The Adult Group is slightly different than above. "Adult" in the report refers to those enrollees who are 18 or older but less than the senior age.

- Brochure Templates: you can now duplicate a brochure template.
Version 1.96 June 10, 2007
- Added ability to Void a registration. This shouldn't be used in lieu of a credit! The only use we can see is that a registrant changes their mind after you've hit "Save" on a registration and you immediately return their payment.
- On the registration display page you have a link to void a registration. That takes you to a page where you can enter the reason for doing so. Voiding a registration will note the reason you enter, your name and today's date. It will also summarize the details of the registration. Enrollments, payments and products purchased are summarized. The related records are deleted! Enrollments are deleted and the enrollment counts for classes are adjusted accordingly. All Payment records are deleted. All Products purchased records are deleted.
- Assigned Registration number later in process, so they should keep sequence.
